Gabby's Story...
This little beauty is Gabby! Gabby is a very special girl that was saved from euthanasia at the city shelter. When we came across Gabby she was so scared and needed to be saved. We soon learned that Gabby had severe trauma to one of her hind legs, possibly due to being run over by a car. There was nothing they could do to save her leg. She went to foster and is recovering quite nicely. Despite all she's been through she continues to be a sweet, loving and playful little girl. She is now ready for her forever home and a family that will give are the love and support her foster family has. She's potty trained and loves kids and other dogs. She is now running on her three legs and is a complete ray of sunshine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a San Antonio Papillon/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Chihuahua for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Papillon/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Chihuahua breeders who help with Papillon/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
