Berry's Story...
Berry and his siblings, Papaya, Cherry, and Mango were born to a stray mom and found living outside of a men’s home. The men lovingly cared for the kittens, but were not allowed to keep them. Berry and his siblings are now ready for a brand new start!
Berry is a playful and outgoing little kitten who would do great with another cat. He enjoys playing with toys and his siblings. He is the leader of the pack and is frequently found exploring new territory in the house. He loves playing on his cat tree and often naps with his sister Mango. Berry is a fun little kitten that would make a great addition to any house.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berry, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
