Cleo's Story...
Cleo is a pretty female Great Dane/Lab mix born around June 2012 who is in need of a quiet, patient and loving home. Before coming to Kiko, Cleo spent most of her time in a barn with a few other dogs. Because of this, she is sometimes shy and unsure of people, particularly men, but she has come a long way and has shown us that she is sweet and affectionate. Her ideal home would be in the suburbs or country with a fenced yard plus walks to get her more socialized and accustomed to seeing different surroundings. Someone home a lot of the time would also be best, although she does know to do her business outside. If you have the patience and time to help Cleo adapt to a new home, we would love to hear from you. This lovely girl does not have a mean bone in her body and attached quickly to her caregiver.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a Rigaud Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
