Annabelle's Story...
Annabelle is a dachshund/chihuahua mix. She was owner surrendered at our local rabies control but was pulled immediately into a wonderful foster home. She was a little shy at first but has come out of her shell day by day. She now loves to play with her other doggy friends. She lives with 2 cats as well. She is very laid back and will just lay wherever you are so would prefer to live in a home with not so much activity. If you have been looking for that dog that will just lay at your feet and be the toe warmer this is your dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabelle, a Jackson Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
