Mugsy's Story...
I cannot say enough about how AMAZING, ADORABLE and SWEET Mugsy is. He actually looks like a minnie Boxer at only 18 lbs. People who meet him instantly fall in love. Mugsy was rescued from the desert as he was hit by a car and then dumped. Sadly his front leg had to be removed but the staples are out and Mugsy don't seem to mind that it is gone. He is 1-2 years young and really just enjoys everyone and everything. Great in the car, in other peoples houses, with all people of all shapes and sizes and all pets. He loves cats, licks the fosters cats' heads and sleeps with them. Mugsy is a dream dog as he is so flexible and loving but not in your face hyper or needy. Extremely well balanced for all that he has endured. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1422252061327595.1073741834.1414929945393140&type=1&comment_id=132799&offset=0&total_comments=1

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mugsy, a Burbank Pug/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Whippet for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Pug/Whippet dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Whippet breeders who help with Pug/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
