Rudy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rudy's Story...
Rudy is a young adult neutered male Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. He is happy and friendly and active. He gets along with most other dogs, but would prefer a home with no cats. He likes kids but might be a bit too energetic for very small children. He is a bit leery of strangers at first, especially in his kennel, but once he"s met you he's very friendly. Rudy was found as a stray, so we do not know much of his history. He is heartworm negative and has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas. His adoption fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Portland Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
