Warrior's Story...
Warrior is the sweetest, 6 month old puppy ever. His speckled ears and paws are adorable and his coloring is just gorgeous. He is easy going and doesn't bark or whine much, if not at all. He is content to just sit on you lap and snuggle or go outside and explore the yard. He likes puppy toys and raw hide, is doing great with his house training and has a low to medium energy level. Warrior's sister had a spot of demodex mange and we are treating him too, just to be safe. He is on ivermectin once daily for the next month and a half. It is not contagious and should not cause any problems in the future, but his forever home should be willing to continue these meds (which will be sent with him) until they are finished. Warrior is is being fostered in Birmingham, AL. For more information or if you are interested in meeting Warrior please contact us at info@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Warrior, a Marietta Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dachshund breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
