Jennifer's Story...
Meet Jennifer, an outgoing 3 month old black lab mix. She is as sweet as she is cute and loves to curl up and sleep with you after a hearty romp in the yard. Jennifer is great with kids and other animals. House and crate training are going well; she seems to be a quick learner. Jennifer is up to date on vaccinations and being fostered in Hellam, PA. She will make a great addition to any family.

We are a local all breed rescue PA Caring for K-9's. We rescue most of our dogs from high kill shelters. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. Our adoption fee is $275 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. We are an all volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9.org or check us out on facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs avaible for adoption. You can email us at pack9rescue@pack9.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jennifer, a New Oxford Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Oxford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in New Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
