Lucy and Molly's Story...
Molly and Lucy are two little girls that love being "sisters". They have been together since they were both very young and we would love to find a home that could take both of them. They make a great comic team, running, playing and just being young kids. They are both now three, Molly born in Nov 2004 and Lucy, the smaller of the two born in May of 2004. They are both around 4 pounds and love walking on their leashes, getting dressed up in their warm clothes and being held by the people they trust. For more info on these two please email us with your application from our web site www.ChihuahuaRescueOfSanDiego.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy and Molly, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
