Scout in Oklahoma's Story...
Scout in Oklahmoa
Scout is a 2.5 year old male JRT. He is a small little guy.....about 11 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 13 pounds. Remember.....dynamite comes in small packages! This little guy is all JRT! He will be a great jogging partner or bike riding partner. His foster mon says he will also make a great JRTCA trial dog. She took him to an event and discovered that he loves the racing! He took to it like he had done it all his life. When it is time to calm down and settle in he is like a little snuggle bunny. He curls right up and is more than happy to be a lap dog. All in all a VERY TYPICAL JRT. If you have a passive life style, or gone a lot, or want a quiet dog or have never had a Jack before, then Scout is not for you. If you enjoy exercise, activity, and love to interact with your dog, Scout will be an outstanding companion. He will need a secure yard to play in. No cats. No kids under 12. No male dogs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout in Oklahoma, a Oklahoma City Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
