Jethro's Info...

I am not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jethro's Story...
Jethro is a frisky and fun young boy looking for his forever home after being abandoned in August when his owner left town. He will need to go to a home with no children since he sometimes likes to give "love bites" when he gets super excited. His new owner will need to let him know that is not appropriate behavior and redirect his energy. Jethro loves to play interactively with people and is easily entertained by nothing more than a feather on a string! He is confident enough to live with a cat-friendly dog but does not like other cats. Jethro is an all-around sweet boy who would make a good companion for a fun and easy-going household. Please fill out an adoption application to meet Jethro and get to know him better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
