Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Karla is a sweet, beautiful girl. She does really well with other dogs of all sizes and ages and would prefer that her forever home have another dog. Karla's favorite past times are playing chase and wrestling with her doggy buddies, and chasing a tennis ball with her foster mom. Karla is a shy girl and will need a family that is patient in earning her trust, but once she warms up to you, she gives the best kisses and snuggles! Karla sleeps with her foster mom at night, but is also perfectly happy sleeping on the sofa or a dog bed. Karla is baby gated in the kitchen during the day, but has also been crated and done just fine. She is not a barker and is house trained. Karla has been working on leash training and has made a lot of progress, but still is not comfortable going potty on a leash. For this reason, she would fit best with a home with a fenced back yard. Also, due to her quiet and shy nature she would do best in a home without children under 10. The naturally exuberant nature of kids would be a bit startling for Karla. Karla is estimated to be 1 year old and weighs about 25 pounds.
Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom & dad are!), we are guessing on breed and size when grown.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis. We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday August 9, 2014, at Fetch Delivers Warehouse, at their new location, 783 Harding St. NE. Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55413, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
