I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Luke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Luke's Story...
Luke wandered into our yard while he was following his mom down our road. Mom is a burebred St. Bernard, Dad a purebred black Lab. Luke has a pretty laid back personality but also loves to play. Super with women, not as bonded with men and definitely not recommended for younger children . Luke is a terrific and protective dog .. Neutered, current on all vaccines, Housetrained (loves to sleep at the foot of the bed). Needs a secure yard to play in and an easy going dog for company would be great. No adoption fee to an approved adopter, however, a veterinarian reference check is required. An experienced and patient adopter a must!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Elkin Labrador Retriever/St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/St. Bernard for sale in Elkin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Elkin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elkin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elkin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/St. Bernard breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elkin paves the way for another one to be saved.
