Benny is a handsome Marmalade tabby-tuxedo boy. He looks like he's wearing white socks on each of his paws. He is sweet and gentle and will greet you at the door to welcome you home.
Benny mostly likes to hang around you, not on you. He prefers to walk across you and stand on your lap for pets. He's very cute - sometimes when you're petting him, and he walks off your lap, and you start to get up, he rushes back to your lap again so you don't leave. So of course you can't resist, and must stay an extra few minutes petting him. After his stand-up petting act he will usually settle down and lie next to you. But when the mood strikes, he will settle and stay on your lap.
Benny LOVES being petted and when you pet him he purrs. In fact, he loves being petted so much that if you hold your hand just above his head he can't wait and he'll push off his hind legs to raise his head up into your hand. He likes to be near you at night and will want to sleep on the bed with you.
He's also good at entertaining himself or just curling up for a good nap in a sunny spot. Benny is a bit over 2 years of age and still very playful. If he were in pre-school you might find him described as "plays well by himself", though he won't turn down a playmate if there's one around. By nature, Benny will show his shy side at first until he gets to know you. But once he's comfortable and secure, he'll blossom.
Benny would do best in a quiet, adult home. He is the perfect companion for anyone who knows the value of loyal friendship and abundant affection. If you also possess these qualities then Bennie is the perfect match.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.
Our Adoption Fee is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia Testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails. All Fees will be returned.
Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
