Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SMOKEY JOE
8 year old Male Seal Point Ragdoll fostered in Stockton
Let me introduce you to a big, beautiful cat named Smokey Joe. He has deep, blue eyes and soft, creamy fur with dark points on his face, tail and legs. He is a big boy, weighing in at around 15 pounds. This Ragdoll is a hunk of burning love. He loves to be brushed and to have his head rubbed. If you want an aloof cat who ignores you, Smokey Joe is not the right companion for you. If you want a cat who follows you around the house and is involved in whatever you are doing, he is the right cat for the job. Smokey Joe is sensitive about what parts of his body are touched, so he may not do well with very small children. He is currently being fostered alone, and we are not sure if there were other pets where he lived before. His ability to get along with other pets is unknown. He has a 100% clean bill of health. His long silky fur requires only weekly brushing, and he sheds very little. He aims to please and is litter box perfect. He is not as active as most Raggies. He is probably still mourning his owner.
Smokey Joe’s owner died and her family was not able to care for him. He found himself in the shelter in an unfamiliar environment. These cats become very attached to their humans. He is adjusting quickly to his foster home, and would like a forever home where he can feel secure again.
Smokey Joe is fostered by Dr. Pam Van Allen in Stockton, California. DrPamVanAllen@aol.com, (209) 474-6808.
