Hi everyone! My name is Levi and I am a 2 year old yellow lab mix. I used to be a stray, roaming around a college campus and getting lots of attention from so many people! But I didn't like not having a warm bed to sleep on. So this great rescue offered to find me the bestest home! I am completely housebroken and my foster mommy says I ride in the car like a champ, whatever that means. I love, love, love other dogs and I even try to play with the cat. I do need a bit of training on the leash though. I just want to go see everything and meet everyone but my foster mommy says I pull too hard. Doesn't she know I'm just excited? I also know all sorts of commands, like sit and lay down. I am a healthy 70lbs and am up-to-date on all my shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi, a Nashville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
