Hazel ($300 adoption fee)'s Story...
Hi, I'm Hazel and I am an approximately six year old Great Pyrenees. I was saved from a high kill shelter the day before I was to be euthanized along with another sweet Pyrenees who we suspect is my son. I am a very sweet girl and will gently nug your hand for more attention. I'm very gentle for a 113 pound girl. I promise I will catch on really fast though. I get along well with other dogs (I can be a little jealous of other dogs getting attention but am learning there is enough love to go around). I even like cats. I really like Quincy and it would be nice to stay together, but we don't have to be adopted together. Please, you MUSTpaste following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel ($300 adoption fee), a Windham Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Windham, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
