Edie's Story...
Hello! My name is Edie! They call me Edie the Sweetie because I have lots of love to give! I am looking for a family that will play with me and give me many hours of snuggle time. I enjoy long runs with my foster mom, playing chase outside with my foster brothers and sister, big juicy rawhide chew bones and of course my favorite activity is snuggling up next my foster mom and dad. Nothing is better when the evenings get cold than snuggling up on a warm lap!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edie, a Dayton American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dayton, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Dayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
