WANTED: A human jogging or a canine tag partner! Are you looking for a family member who loves to cuddle, go for a good jog, and have a good round of canine tag in the back yard? If so, Im the guy! My name is Tigger, named after Tigger of Winnie the Pooh, because I bounce like he does. Im approximately 2 years old, 15lbs and they are not sure if I am a purebred poodle or not. Although I can be timid, I quickly overcome it. I do love running around a fenced yard, playing with toys, getting belly rubs, spending time with you on the couch/chair and sleeping in bed with you. My foster mom took me jogging w/her and says I was a great companion (I didnt stop to sniff and made her keep pace with me). Im good with other dogs (and even cats), but it is probably best Im not in a home with small kids full time. Im looking for a home that will give me tons of love and is understanding that when cornered or in an extremely fearful situation, I may resort to growling/showing teeth and mouthing. This does NOT happen often and Im easily distracted by a treat! My foster family has been able to give me baths, put collars/leashes on me, etc and I don't growl or show teeth or mouth. I am NOT food aggressive, nor possessive of people, food, or my toys. Im really an easy going and very loveable guy; although a bit shy at first, I do warm up to you quickly.
