Callie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Callie's Story...
This is Callie. She is a little bundle of love and joy. Callie is 3 months old and only weighs about 4-5 lbs. She will not get much bigger. Callie does very well in the house, is trained to go on pee pads. She gets along well with other dogs and is fine with cats. Because she is so small, she needs to go to a home with older children or no kids at all. Prior to adoption she will receive all of her age appropriate vaccinations, be spayed, receive preventative treatment for fleas and intestinal parasites and have a complete veterinary exam with health certificate. If you are interested in this adorable baby, email rookiesrescue@yahoo.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Albany Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Albany, or seeking a Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
