Gift - beautiful & sweet's Story...
Gift was dumped in one of our volunteers' front yards. She was a gift to us, and she soon gifted us with two beautiful puppies, hence the name Gift. She is a female Chihuahua, about 10 lbs, 1.5 years old, and very friendly and sweet.

She is energetic and full of life. She would do well with or without a dog playmate. Gift likes children and adults equally and has been around both in her foster home. She is also good around cats. She loves to cuddle on your lap, but also loves to play in the yard. Someone who has a yard, with time to train and spend with her would be ideal. She will have too much energy for an apartment.

Gift's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, up-to-date basic vaccines, up-to-date rabies vaccine, and microchip. Please email for an application. Gift is currently in foster in Connell, WA but can be transported to the Seattle for an approved adopter at no extra charge.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gift - beautiful & sweet, a Kirkland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kirkland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kirkland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kirkland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kirkland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kirkland paves the way for another one to be saved.
