Harley's Story...
Hi, my name is Harley and I am a 4 month old German Shepard mix. I am a smart, playful, brave, happy-go-lucky pup. and I love playing with all of my foster brothers & sisters, cats & dogs alike. I am going to grow up to be a big girl, but for now I am very happy to curl up in my foster mom's lap & give kisses. I stay very quiet in my kennel at night and am trying very hard to remember to go potty outside. I would make a wonderful addition to just about any family.
Will you be my fur-ever family?

Harley is currently being fostered in Manteno, IL, up to date on all vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped and de-wormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Gurnee German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Gurnee, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Gurnee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gurnee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gurnee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gurnee paves the way for another one to be saved.
