My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freckles is around 6 years old. This classic, tri-colored fellow found himself homeless right before Christmas when his family dumped him at the pound. He is up-to-date on shots, is neutered and healthy. He is the sweetest and goofiest boy. He has the most fabulous big head and feet. Freckles is loving and curious and does like to explore lots of things. He is like a puppy in some regards and wants to follow his nose to check out trash and things on the counter, etc. He wants to follow his people everywhere and see what is going on at all times. At the vet's office, they said he never stopped barking. Well, he was in a crate 24/7 so we understand the barking. Now that he can follow his people and doggie friends around, he is doing great and only barks when people walk thru his yard or when he is playing. He even sleeps in his crate at night and doesn't make a peep. He is not completely housebroken but doing very well with it and has learned the dog door quickly. He would love a doggie friend that will romp and play with him and one that he can follow around. He was also briefly around kitties and did great with them. After initially chasing and barking at them, he let them sleep on the bed with him.
