Sully's Story...
Our rescue team was quick to pull this sweet baby off of death row at the high kill shelter where he was brought as a stray. Now he lives with his foster family and plays with their dogs and LOVES their little girl. Sully is an all around great pup, highly trainable and so loveable. He is a medium energy pup, so he can keep up with an active family, but does not "bounce off the walls" with pent up energy!

Sully is friendly, affectionate, playful, and loves everyone he meets! Sully is gentle and sweet, and gets along very well with children and other dogs. He enjoys a good belly rub. Sully’s foster is working on leash training and crate training. He is a perfect family pet who loves to be the center of attention!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sully, a Jackson Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
