My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Braydon! I really love attention and I know the best place for a border collie is in a person's lap! I like to come up and sit on people because it makes them laugh and then I get lots of pets and all kinds of attention; as long as the person is an adult. I am still a little wary of people who are very small; my Foster Mom calls them children, but I just call them scary. They look right at me and that makes me pretty nervous. I would really like to live in a home where all the people's faces are at least a foot higher than my face. To learn all about me, please visit MidAmerica Border Collie Rescue’s website www.midamericabcrescue.org. But to learn about me in a nutshell, read below – I’m quite the character!
• I would really like someone who is experienced. I’m trying really hard to learn, but I need someone who isn’t second-guessing what they are doing too.
• Dedicated to training. My new home has to love to train me, because I love to learn! My Foster Mom says I would be a great agility dog because I can bounce really high and I love to play with toys, and I really love to eat food!
• Understanding of my OCD. I’ve come a long way with my light/shadow chasing, but my new home has to understand that and know I am likely to develop other obsessions (like bouncing at the door, that’s pretty fun!).
• No children under 12, or very tall for their age younger kids.
• I don’t mind cats. I live with 2 and I couldn’t care less about them.
• I share my space with other dogs pretty well.
