Bentley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bentley's Story...
This is one perfect dog for an active family with kids. ;He is fun, gentle and loves to play ball. He gets along great with other animals, cats included. ;He is completely trained and very well mannered in the house.

He has megaesophugus so he is required to eat in his special chair 3 times a day and has to sit in the chair for 15 minutes after eating. He is trained to get in the chair himself and stays the entire time without a whimper. (that is until the timer goes off then he knows it's time to get out).  This condition will never get better but it also won't stop him from having a long and happy life.  There are no extra trips to the vet and no medicine to take.  He just needs someone who will take the time to feed him in his chair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a McArthur Flat-Coated Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
