Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Vegas is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Vegas is not affiliated with Take Me Home. He is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Vegas, please contact Jack at Jackleslie2004@yahoo.com.
Meet "Vegas", an adorable, wiggly, 6-month-old, 45lb Pit mix puppy. Poor Vegas got off to a rough start in life. A former adopter found him as a stray in her neighborhood in Las Vegas. When she called to him, he came right to her and was delighted to meet her two dogs. Unfortunately, she didn't have the room to keep little Vegas, so she drove him down to Los Angeles where Pits have a better chance of getting adopted.
Vegas is now in a foster home with two other dogs, and he is thriving. He LOVES people and follows his foster-dad everywhere he goes. He is very smart and has already learned to sit. Vegas also does very well at the dog park where he gets along with other dogs of all sizes (check out his video). Since he is young, he could also probably be in a home with a cat since he would grow up with it. Vegas loves to take walks and is good on a leash. He's also crate-trained and rides nicely in the car. Vegas is also house-broken and knows how to use a doggy-door.
Vegas was recently neutered, received all his shots, and got microchipped. He weighs in at around 25 lbs (as of October 8) and is generally in very good health. He would be great in a home with a single person or a family with kids. A home with another dog would be a bonus. The most important thing is that he receives a lot of love and attention since he is very human-centric and wants to please his owner. Overall, he's a wiggly bundle of joy, a little bit on the submissive side, but he warms up quickly.
