Peanut's Story...
You will go "nuts" over Peanut!

Woof! Woof! My name is Peanut and I am a professional cuddler! Just look at my cute little face - what's not to love?

My favorite activity is to curl up in a warm lap and be petted -- I am the ultimate cuddle-bug! I love children and rides in the car, and I give unconditional love and lots of little doggy kisses! My foster mom says that I am absolutely precious! She takes me to work with her and I get to go around the office giving everyone snuggles and love -- I am very popular!

I am crate trained and 100% housetrained, so I am the perfect little guy! I would prefer to be an only dog since I am small and big dogs intimidate me. I may be pint sized, but I have a HUGE heart and lots of personality!

If you are looking for a small dog that will help keep your lap warm and be a constant loving companion, I am your guy! Please contact Friends of Rescue (info@forrescue.net) and ask for Peanut -- you'd be "nuts" not to!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Homewood Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
