Walt's Story...
My name is Walt. My brother is Jesse. Can you tell our foster mom loves the show Breaking Bad! We were caught in traps from a 40 cat colony. Normally, if we were well, we would have been vetted and put back outside at our colony where a family feeds us but we were both sick and were taken in. We are both well now and we are loving life. We will find inside only homes where we will be well taken care of and loved. I can't wait to meet you. I am a purr baby for sure.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walt, a Great Mills Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Great Mills, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Great Mills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Mills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Mills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Mills paves the way for another one to be saved.
