My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kelly is one of a litter of four absitively posolutely adorable pups. Their mama's name is Charlie (short for Charlotte) and the pups are Jill, Kelly, Sabrina, and Bosley - in other words: Charlie's Angels.

We are pretty sure we have their mix down right. We know what their mama is (Papillon) but never met their daddy as their mama came in as a stray one day and the next she had delivered the pups. With their luscious fur coats, physical traits, and many of their antics, we are fairly certain their daddy was a Shih Tzu. If not that, possibly a miniature poodle. Whatever their mix, they are fun and sweet and simply too cute.

The pups are just about nine weeks old and will be ready to go to new homes on October 15th. Though they get along with everyone, due to their size, any children in their adoptive homes should be at least eight years of age.

If you would like to adopt one of these cuties please go to our website, throwmeabonedogrescue.org, click on "Resources" at the top and then click on "Application." You can complete and send us your application right from there.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.

Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a leash & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
