ANNA's Story...
This beautiful black Labrador retriever is named ANNA. Anna was found as a stray puppy about 6 weeks ago. She was dodging traffic at a busy intersection and a young couple picked her up. They are fostering her until we can find her a good home. Anna is approx 6 - 7 months old and still growing. She weighs 35 lbs currently and may get as large as 60 lbs at her adult size. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and heart worm negative. We have her on all monthly preventatives. Her foster mom is doing a great job with walking her on a leash, house breaking, and teaching her great manners both indoors and outdoors. She is a very sweet girl, great with anything that moves, and loves to play. Loves the water and is just a very typical Lab. Great family dog for sure!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ANNA, a Bedminster Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
