Rhett & Butler's Story...
Rhett (fawn & white, male) & Butler (brown/agouti, male) were born in New Moon Rabbit Rescue’s care on 30 March 2013. Their mother had arrived only days earlier after being caught as a stray.

Butler is the smaller of the two, but is also the more mischievous, while Rhett is very laid back. Both have great litter habits and love to try new fruits and veggies. Rhett is a big wire chewer and therefore needs a very well bunny-proofed home and area to play.

They both are used to being picked up and carried, and Rhett will tolerate quite a bit of snuggling but Butler is not super keen on the snuggles. They are also used to small dogs. Both boys were recently neutered and are now available for adoption!

If you have any question about these two wonderful boys or are interested in giving them a forever home please contact us at info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rhett & Butler, a North Gower Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
