My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAWMAW- (aka Momma Bear) is quite an extraordinary lady. She was rescued off the street one day, very pregnant. A few days later she gave birth to a large litter of 11 black lab puppies that she lovingly cared for for almost 9 wks until they were all adopted. Now we focus on her. She is an amazing dog, loves other dogs, is very affectionate & loyal. The volunteers that have been her 'pup-buddy' at adoption events all rave about how wonderful she is. She likes to spend leisurely time hanging on the front porch sun bathing, or romping in the tall grass with her fur buddies. She gets along great with other dogs, her only fault is she loves to smother you with kisses. We joke that we will never have to buy Q-tips ever again because she keeps licking our ears cleaning them...hahaha.
MawMaw is a good, obedient girl with a well rounded personality. She will bark at strangers when they pull in the drive way, but once you tell her they are okay she wags her tail and loves them just as much. She loves to lay on the sofa with her head in your lap while you watch TV. She prefers to sleep in her crate at night will put herself to bed in it when she is tired, no need to shut the door.
<p>Her breed mix is a complete guess, but once you see her in person, you are struck by her beautiful white coat. It is hard to tell in pictures, but she has a long, sleek body, tall, lean legs and an elongated snout. Her personality is very Labrador Retriever like, she is shy at times and athletic like a Greyhound.
