Wolf Man Jack aka Wolfie has quite a story. During a heat wave in late June, we got a call from a good Samaritan who was dumping his trash in the dumpster and heard a very small sound. He picked up a paper bag to find Wolfie and his brother, just about two days old. They called PPCR, and we took these two kittens in. Fortunately we have a veterinary technician who is extremely experienced with newbies. It was "touch and go" if these two would survive their ordeal, but look at little Wolfie now!

Wolfie thinks all humans are his mother. After all, human faces are all he has seen since birth (except other kittens). If you call his name, he will run down the hall to find you! He loves to sleep next to you, soothing you and himself with a very loud purrrrrr. He thrives on attention and has a very calm and endearing personality. He loves sitting in your lap and kissing your face.

Wolfie has been growing up with other kittens in foster care and needs another active, playful kitten or cat to be his buddy in his new home. He would do well in a family with gentle children. Dogs, with proper introduction, would also be fine.

We have listed Wolfie as a Maine Coon Mix, but he could also be of Angora background because of his very soft long hair. In any case, he doesn't care what his heritage is. He is just so happy to be alive.

Wolfie will come to you tested, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
