Luke's Story...
This handsome fella is Luke! Luke is a 4 year old Labrador full of life. After taking a field trip (without permission) with his buddy, he ended up at the pound. When his owner came to pick up the naughty boys Luke was left behind while his mate went back home. Now the search begins for that perfect home.

Luke is a very smart boy and does listen very well. He knows "sit", "stay", "come" and "lay". As you can see from his pictures he enjoys being as close to people to as possible! Luke will make a great addition to any family, but due to exuberance he may do best in a home without small children.

Take a moment to stop in and visit with Luke, he may be the one you have been searching for.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Muskegon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
