Buttons's Story...
Buttons is a super sweet girl that is 6 years old , up to date on her shots and is spayed and micro-chipped. She is a quiet little girl and wants to be by your side all of the time .
She likes to play and be outside in the yard.
Buttons is a Shih Tzu, she weighs about 25  lbs and is about 12 inches tall, a little over weight but super sweet.
Buttons has an eye problem and needs medication several times a day, she takes it great , I put butter on the pill and she takes it down very gently. She has  a little bit of a vision problem but has no trouble getting by.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons, a Bellingham Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
