I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Winston's Story...
Winston, believed to be around 3 years old, was rescued from a local shelter where he had been an owner surrender. He is a beautiful 185 pound smooth coat boy that is very calm and sedate. He loves napping on the couch, but at his size, you'd better have a big couch! He gets along well with little dogs, and calm large dogs, but doesn't particularly care for large, in-your-face dogs. He likes all people that he meets and will be a wonderful companion. If you are interested in adopting Winston, please fill out and submit an on-line adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
