Toby's Story...
this adorable little maltese mix is approx 5 yrs old and 12 lbs,he is happy little dog , always smiling, he has the cutest over bite, he loves to play with his rescue buddies, he also likes to run out of the door pretty quickly as he loves to go on walks and ride in the car, so he would be better in a family with no small children as he can get out quickly.. he has been treated for heart worms and is on a monthly preventative, he also had a dental and has nice clean teeth.. he is just a precious little dog and loves sitting in your lap and getting some petting… he is Mr. personality

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Norwalk Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
