My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope and Persephone are 4-5 month old tortoiseshell girls. They were born to a stray/unwanted cat who showed up pregnant in a senior mobile home park. They were taken into their foster home at 9 weeks - at that point they were pretty scared of people as they had not been touched in their first 2 months - but with some time and patience, they have made enormous progress.

They now are affectionate, purr readily, love attention, and play happily when in their foster home. In strange places and with people they don't know, they are docile but pretty scared still. They do great with other cats and are only mildly weary of dogs. They do not have to be adopted together!
