Mushball Marshall's Story...
Hi! my name is Mushball Marshall and I am looking for a loving, forever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. I now reside in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Everyone says I am just an absolute sweetheart who loves getting lots of attention and belly rubs:)). I also walk well on a leash and like playing with other dogs. I am about 2 years old and about 50 - 55 lbs. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Marshall :)).

About The Sato Project - New Jersey Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501 C 3 new non profit animal welfare organization. However, our founder, Chrissy Beckles has been rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico for the last 6 years and I have been rescuing dogs from Puerto Rico for the last three years. We rescue dogs from Puerto Rico because there are over 250,000 strays and animal cruelty laws are not enforced and there is significant animal cruelty in Puerto Rico. Our goal is to help change the face of Puerto Rico and make it a place where dogs and people can peacefully live together and where there are no longer 250,000 strays. This will be accomplished by rescuing the adoptable pups from puerto Rico and caring for the ones that are not adoptable in Puerto Rico. Just as important is providing education on the importance od spay/neuter and our organization spaying/neutering dogs that will remain in Puerto Rico.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Go to our website - www.thesatoproject.com and there is a donate button and can donate via paypal

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs fly from Puerto Rico to the states to their foster homes. We will provide city, town, state where each of the dogs are being fostered and I will coordinate meeting the dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all potential adopters to complete our adoption application. We review the application, do full reference checks and home visits. Once we complete this process and the application is approved we then set up a date and time for the family to meet the dog. If we then feel it is a good fit then the potential adopters will need to complete and sign our adoption contract.
The adoption fee for puppies too young to be spayed/neutered is $250. For dogs spayed/neutered the adoption fee is $300.
