REGGIE's Story...
Reggie was on his last days at an over crowded dog pound..Dogworks Inc rescued Reggie and now we need to find him a permanent home...Nice looking boy at 1 1/2 - 2 years old and weighs 65 lbs. A bit shy and unsure -- foster mom is working with Reggie on daily home life with other animals...Reggie doing well...Seems fine with other dogs and so far OK with cats..Best in home with older children - he is a big boy and could knock a young child over plus loud noises may scare him at this point. Crate trained, needs secure fenced yard and someone to provide interaction and build confidence and socialize more. Has potential!!
We are still learning about Reggie. Adoption fee includes: Neuter, vaccine update, heartworm check and G.I.deworming. Adoption fee $160.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

REGGIE, a Toledo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
