Lotus's Story...
Everyone say hello to Lotus!

Lotus is 4 weeks old and was scheduled to be euthanized along with her mom and brother at 2 weeks of age. Fortunately the nice shelter help contacted us and we were able to make room for her. She is now in a nice, safe foster home with her mom (Liberty) and brother (Loki). Both Lotus and Loki are happy, fat little piglets and growing quickly! Lotus is the spunky one and is already trying to play tug-o-war.

They will be ready to go to their forever home at 8 weeks of age.

Please contact us at thefortrescue@gmail.com if you are interested in Lotus.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lotus, a Asheboro Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Asheboro, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Asheboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Asheboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Asheboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Asheboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
