Bradley's Story...
BRADLEY! LAWDY, LAWDY, LAWDY! It was love at first sight between this boy and his foster mommy. HE IS AWESOME. The perfect balance between good looks and a wonderful personality! Bradley is about 1-2 years of age, about 65lbs and would be classified as a medium energy boy. He appears to be Lab/hound mix and would make a terrific family member for just about any family. He gets along great with everyone and is even cat friendly. Bradley is very loving, he LOOOOVES people, is crate trained and working on house manners. He is gentle, walks well on lead and takes treats nicely. He would love to do just about any activity with his family even if it lying around watching TV. He loves compressed rawhides and those yummy freeze dried salmon treats his foster mommy gives him for just being a good boy. He has a beautiful coat that is a bit longer than that of a typical lab and he has a gorgeous face and white blaze on his chest. What a stunner! Bradley is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is kept on frontline and heartgard. If you are interested in adopting this outstanding boy, please complete an online application and request him on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bradley, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
