Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chaz is such a dream- come- true guy for any family! If you're searching for a true-blue companion that has no greater joy than to take leisurely walks, visit with dog-loving friends and then lie in your lap (or at least by your side), then Chaz is your perfect pup. Chaz is about a 7 or so -year old (just at the prime of his life as these mixes often have life spans of 15 - 17 years old), 12 lb Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix who has the sweetest temperament ever! This soft- as- cotton guy had no idea why he was suddenly on death row in rural Texas....he tried SO hard to be the best-behaved pup around! How could he possibly understand that he was turned in to be euthanized because when he kissed, his underbite got in the way....REALLY??? Farfel's thinks that Chaz's silly mouth is the cutest thing ever (he will be getting a full dental in Texas before his transport). This amazing guy...with the best soul... deserves only the greatest that life has to offer! Chaz's behavior is so loving and devoted that he's appropriate for any dog-friendly situation. He has been welcomed into shops, friend's homes & cars and onto laps during an air flight...he's so cuddly and warm & wonderful that he brings a sense of calm to all those who have the pleasure of spending time with him. With all of Chaz's snuggly ways...he's also open to a brisk walk. Just as long as he's with his favorite people, Chaz is good to go...anywhere. He loves riding shotgun on errands or adventures...as long as he can be a copilot and see out the window, he's pretty good about not being a backseat driver. We envision Chaz in an adult only (or with kids 15+) home where he is truly a part of a family that enjoys their time at home... or likes to bring a wonderful, fuzzy guy with them. When Chaz can't come along, you can bet he'll be at the window loyally waiting for his family to return. He also seems to enjoy his time with gentle dogs his own size, but we feel he would be very happy in a single-dog household as long as he's not alone for many hours. Chaz is a non-shedding pup who will require periodic grooming to keep his coat healthy and matt-free. Chaz is arriving on transport in Denver on 10/21. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional and super-loving companion. Chaz's adoption fee is $195.
