Say hello to Tess! Tess is about one year old, female, maybe a lab mix, about 40 pounds. She is medium sized in height and stature.

Tess is a lean and long-legged beauty, with shiny black coat and unforgettably crazy ears! Since arriving in foster care, she has aced all the doggie introductions, picking a male beagle as her best buddy for rolling around and wrestling on the floor. Tess also likes to play chase in the yard with the other dogs in her foster home and is always on her best behavior. And she is FAST!! She is curious and quiet, loves playing fetch with a ball and adores all the Nylabones laying around. Tess also enjoys taking a dip in her foster mom’s pool and is a great swimmer! Tess is housebroken, is very good in her crate and does not bark. Tess is a darling and well mannered girl!

Tess has been fully vetted – she is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative and microchipped. Tess’s adoption donation is $125, to help defray the cost of vetting. Tess is currently located in foster care in Midway, KY, but TWHRA is open to out of state adoptions if it’s a good match, and transport assistance can be provided.
