Dillon's Story...
What sweet little puppy boy I am! I was born in May, 2013 and, very sadly, I was never wanted. I was found, as a stray...dumped... and taken to a very high kill shelter. Oh dear... at 3 1/2 months of age....I was 'next in line' to be put down.

The kind Humane Society people rescued me and told me that they are going to find me a loving, forever family and home! Boy, does that ever give me hope! Just think, my very own people, a bed, lots of yummy food and treats and, best of all...LOVE. Just wait until you see me - I am a beautiful German Shepard....they think I am a 'full' Shepard. I know I am 'full' of love, sweetness and fun! You should see my colors and markings too - they are just perfect! Actually, I am just perfect. Perfect for you and any family that will love me and care for me. I heard them say I am very sweet and playful. I just love toys and other dogs.

Do you like petting puppies and rubbing their little bellies? Then I am your guy! I would love to be your little puppy boy! Won't you come take me home and we can live happily ever after? I'm Dillon and I think we were just made for each other! Please contact my foster mom to arrange to meet me at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dillon, a Hot Springs German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hot Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Hot Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hot Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hot Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hot Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
