Sami's Story...
Hi! My name is Sami and I am a very sweet little Doxie girl who will be 5 yrs. old in November and I weigh 12 lbs. I was a beloved pet but my parents got too sick to care for me so now I am looking for a new forever home. I'm house trained and leash trained too. I follow my foster mom all around the house, and am happiest when I’m sitting on her lap giving her kisses. I have always lived with my friend Sissy, the Doxie/Chi, and would love to stay with her if possible. Either way, if you are looking for a sweet lap dog companion who wants all of your love and attention, please ask for me on your application to www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Sami 111112-29

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sami, a Cottonwood Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Cottonwood, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Cottonwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottonwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottonwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottonwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
