I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lenny's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lenny's Story...
I'm a sweet (or so I've been told!) 5 month old (1/1/2008) boy who loves to run and play with my foster dog siblings. I like spending time with my foster people too - they give great hugs and tummy rubs!

I am houetrained and leash trained, and I'm working on basic obedience - and doing well with it. Boy, it's hard learning to grow up!

I won't be adopted out to a family with children under the age of 8 years old - that's because of my puppy energy and eventual size - I might be a pretty big guy when I grow up!

I'm neutered, up to date with vaccinations, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Adopt me please!!

If you'd like to meet me, please complete an online adoption application and my foster home will be happy to arrange a visit! Please allow up to 72 hours for someone from New Leash to respond to your application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Wake Forest Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Wake Forest, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Wake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
