Lady Deb's Story...
S/F, 1-2 Years, Black Labrador Mix, 45 lbs.

I was picked up as a down and out stray in Wyoming! Even though I was hungry, worm-ridden, and rough around the edges, I passed all of Wyoming's temperament tests with flying colors. That is a great testament to how wonderful I am! I'm SO friendly and loving! MaxFund has been very good to me; I've been de-wormed, spayed, fed the best of foods, and well-loved. I'm a diamond in the rough who is coming along so very nicely! My outside appearance has not always been stunning (soon will be, though!) but my spirit has always been STERLING. You couldn't find a nicer girl than me. Why not ask to meet me and we'll go for a walk and talk things over!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Deb, a Denver Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
