Spud~Adopted!'s Story...
Meet Spud...

Ok....here we go! Spud loves kids! He will actually sleep in bed with them. He loves to play fetch (we use a frisbee that has no center to it and it so comical to watch him retrieve it bc it usually ends up around his neck or body!) He would much rather be with his people then left alone. He is such a joy to have around and is so full of energy & love! He enjoys riding in the car too!

Spud gets along with other dogs, is housebroken and will sleep contently in his crate.

Age: 1 yr
Weight: 10.3 lbs
Adoption fee: $225

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spud~Adopted!, a Troy Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Troy, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
